Celebrating Hispanic Heritage: Honoring Contributions and Community in Collier County from Andres Paz

The Hispanic community is an essential pillar in the growth and development of Collier County. From small business owners to healthcare professionals, educators, and public servants, Hispanics contribute significantly to the economic, cultural, and social fabric of our region. Their dedication and hard work can be seen across all sectors, driving progress and innovation while enriching the community with a vibrant blend of cultures and traditions.

As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, it’s important to recognize the lasting impact that Hispanics have made—and continue to make—on Collier County. Beyond economic contributions, the influence of the Hispanic community extends into civic engagement and community-building efforts. Many Hispanics are leaders in grassroots initiatives, working to ensure that our county remains a welcoming and inclusive place for all. Their involvement in local schools, nonprofits, and community organizations helps to foster connections and promote unity within a diverse population. By celebrating and supporting the Hispanic community, we not only honor its contributions but also strengthen the foundation for a more prosperous and inclusive future for Collier County.

I am proud to be part of this incredible community. As Founder of Latinos239, I’ve dedicated over a decade to media and communication, driven by a passion for storytelling and service to the Hispanic community. My journey has been shaped by the unwavering support of Southwest Florida’s Anglo and Hispanic residents, including several Leadership Collier members whom I admire, shadow, and learn from every day. I remain committed to continuing this work to elevate the voices of our community and contribute to its future success.

Join Naples Botanical Garden, The Greater Naples Chamber, and Latinos239 as we come together to celebrate businesses and individuals who support Southwest Florida’s local Hispanic community!
